Social stories are an effective way to teach students how to manage emotions and teach social norms, skills, and routines. Social skills are important because they allow us to communicate and problem solve. For students with special needs and more specifically, our friends with Autism, we need to teach these skills.

Knowing how to act manage emotions can be tricky. Use this "When I'm Angry" interactive social skill storyboard to teach your students how to manage their behavior when they become angry.

What is included?
• multiple versions of some pages to better meet the needs of your students
• a picture "how to" guide to help you put the interactive storyboard together

Still need more interactive pieces to meet the needs of your students?
Not a problem! Send me an email and I will send you up to 4 more interactive pieces to help you individualize the storyboard more. You can find my email in the TOU included in the download.

This resource works well for pre-teaching students what to do when they're feeling angry as well as for showing them options when they are needing to calm down.

More and more students seem to be having difficulty managing strong emotions such as anger: Children need to first identify with the emotion and what it looks like: Then they are able to discover appropriate ways to cope and manage their anger: The visuals are an exceptional way to reinforce the lesson as students reflect using a hands-on approach:
