Take your sensory integration to the next level by letting your students make their own sensory items for the classroom.
Why should I have my students make these?
Simple sensory experiments with clear, REAL photographs for each step make sensory experiments easy and fun for every student. By showing them how to make each item, you are encouraging language development, while fostering fine motor skills, following direction skills, and other functional life skills. Students will also exhibit ownership behaviors over their creations, taking pride in their work.
All of the sensory experiments included are engaging and simple for students to follow. Each sensory experiment can be completed in 30 - 45 minutes of instructional time (does not include wait time; for example: does not include wait time for water beads to expand or the time for pasta/rice to dry).
