Wanted something engaging for small groups, and my kiddos loved this! Lots of cutting and velcro-ing, but so are most adaptable books! I was able to use the pieces for sensory bins, making the book itself adaptable, and making sequencing boxes. So many uses from this. Love it!
Used this for work as we read the book to help make sure they understood the book.
A perfect retelling activity to include with this book. My students LOVED this book and I wanted to add something a little educational to it. They rocked it!

My students are 3 to 5 year olds with disabilities. Finding engaging activities and assessments is a must in my classroom. The The House the Monsters Built Book Companion have helped me assess not only language and speech but fine motor as well. This activity has helped my students with expressing themselves and understand the book being read. Easy to follow instructions and helps students with fine motor movement and engagement
