These are really supportive for students who struggle to engage in texts either independently or when read aloud. A bit difficult to put together, some errors in the files, but to be expected with the comprehensiveness of the resource. It does take a good amount of time to prep.

I was really excited to use this resource, but then I found that my students were ripping out the adapted pieces from the books when I left them in the library and I wasn't engaging with them as much as I thought I would when I reading the books to the students. I also ended up not liking putting the pieces in the book permanently. Thank you!

This provided adapted pieces for books without me having to create them. My only wish was that the picture pieces were labeled. I like to provide words with pictures.

The students like this resource but my support staff found it difficult. I also had a parent volunteer and they struggled with it for awhile. This can be difficult for those who have never read the story or didn't help with putting the book together. I had to create a list of question prompts with page numbers for those helping.

My students LOVE this resource!

I love using these books. I used them to help students who are working on answering questions are stating details from a story. The question cards were great practice of asking who and where questions for characters and setting. My students seem to enjoy these books.

We love using these adapted books for our ELA centers. It's really engaging and the students love matching the pictures in the book. I also love how many books are included in the set, I didn't get them all, but I can certainly grow my collection in the years to come. Some books can also be used in other months which I found extremely helpful!

Love these Adapted Books! Make it easy to implement whole group reading and then bring it more to their level in smaller reading groups!

I really enjoy these resources but have found that one difficulty is if the person who does not prep the materials is participating in the read aloud with students. Staff often have a difficult time determining the correct answer so we have had to write numbers on the question and matching answer piece. One suggestion would be to make the questions more detailed to help with this, so instead of just saying "what?" it could say "what did he eat?" "what did he do?" "what did he find?" etc.
