This is a fantastic resource for teaching students to recognize and identify important road signs! The missing-pieces format makes the activity interactive and gives students a fun way to practice matching and visual discrimination skills while learning about signs they may encounter in the community.

This task box would be perfect for independent work, task box rotations, small-group instruction, one-on-one teaching, life skills lessons, or community-based instruction. It can also be used to reinforce functional skills and IEP goals related to safety, community awareness, matching, and independence.

I especially like the hands-on format, which makes it easy to provide repeated practice without the activity feeling repetitive. A practical and engaging addition to any special education classroom!
