PRE-PRIMER DOLCH SIGHT WORD READERS •

These sight word booklets were created out of a desperate need for my own self-contained classroom. Students in my classroom, verbal and nonverbal, were struggling with identifying and learning sight words... but they had IEP goals to meet and I had zero curriculum to help them achieve their annual goals. So I created these sight word readers for them.

What is included?
One interactive sight word reader for each word on the Pre-Primer Dolch word list:
• 40 Pre-Primer Sight Word Readers

Each sight word book comes in two formats:
1. One book per print.
2. Two books per print (print, staple, and cut and great for double-sided printing)

What does each book look like?
Each printable book is 8 pages.
• Read it.
• Trace it.
• Write it.
• Find it.
• Color it.
• Cut and paste it.

Each sight word booklet also includes a certificate as the last page.

This is a great resource for students to practice their sight words. I used this with an autistic 2nd grader who responded really well to it. It's quick to complete while maintaining student engagement, and we could either do the whole book or break it up page by page. The student loves taking his finished book home to show his parents what he's working on.
