These are great recipes that don't require any cooking. I love the visual supports and the sequencing. I have printed out copies of the larger visuals for my students who need them as well as the smaller. These are recipes that my students where engaged with and enjoyed making. I love the questions about whether they ate it liked it etc. Also have copies that can easily be sent home was good.

I am obsessed with the monthly recipes. My students really enjoy it. They get to practice sequencing, daily living skills of cooking, reading fractions and using measuring tools, comprehension and reflection AND get to eat a yummy treat in the end. This is a great way for students to try new foods that maybe they haven't eaten before or just get creative and make a recipe even if they don't eat it or end up enjoying the taste. I love these recipes

We used these for a sequencing activity. I laminated, cut and added Velcro to the recipe steps, and the students had to work with their groups to determine the correct sequence. This is a great activity for all learning levels, as it includes multiple learning types (the visuals were great for my Sped kids and my ESL kids). Every kid was engaged and interested in trying out the recipes.
