I love adapted piece sets, and so do my students! I do wish there was some kind of level system for the complexity of the questions. Piggie and elephant are fairly simple books, but the questions are a bit more abstract in this book than If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, for example.

Love your adapted piece books and I love Elephant and Piggie. The students enjoy the books and don't realize they are working on skills as we read.

My students love reading these books! The picture cards are very helpful for my nonverbal students to be involved in our classroom by being able to answer questions about the book and demonstrate their knowledge.

Great resource!

Its a nice resource. I have used it with my 4 years old son and found that there were too many pieces in each page/book for him. So I opted to used only a few pieces, the ones that I though could elicit more language, and it has been better.
