How do I use this in my classroom?
I print on white cardstock, laminate, cut out and add Velcro. During center time or during "free" time, these sorting mats are readily available for students to work on. Depending on ability level, I give the student both sorting mats to work on at once.
You can also use the sorting mats to create a file folder activity or game.

Perfect for all of my learners not matter what their level!! Great find.
I used this resource for one of my students with an IEP goal to determine edible and non edible items. After the student ate a little piece of paper, I had to adapt the activity to make sure it couldn't get eaten. This does not take much prep time at all unless you have a paper eater like my student.
I enjoy this resource for teaching students what they can and cannot eat.
This activity was perfect to go along with our plants/living things unit and my student used it over and over again to practice!

Great resource for independent work system
I used this as part of a small group lesson. The students enjoyed it. I will later add it to their independent work towers.
