The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because unfortunately I had a hard time finding the same visuals/ingredients. My fault, for living in a rural area, but frustrating nonetheless. Great ideas and activities- I definitely appreciate them and my students enjoyed their creations!

These are so great! I've used these for how-tos and as a reward for the students. I cut the pieces and have them in a baggie for the students to put the recipe in order then they are able to make the treat.

My students have loved the recipes. And the visuals make it so that my readers and non-readers can participate. They always want to bring it home to their parents to try at home!

When covid struck, I used this resource over zoom and it was a lot of fun. Parents got involved and it was a big hit. Students may not always eat the food but it is such a great way to encourage trying new things.

We used these for a sequencing activity. I laminated, cut and added Velcro to the recipe steps, and the students had to work with their groups to determine the correct sequence. This is a great activity for all learning levels, as it includes multiple learning types (the visuals were great for my Sped kids and my ESL kids). Every kid was engaged and interested in trying out the recipes.

One of my students favorite things to do!

This is perfect for our weekly cooking group with students who range from emerging readers to about 2nd grade readers. The visuals and variety of levels is perfect. We don't need to make all of our own materials anymore!

This helped me come up with lesson plans for my afterschool group. It took all the research out of the equation for me so I could focus on having fun with the kids.
