So much fun to use on National Pizza Day this past week. My kiddos love Pete the Cat so we used a lot of the resources in this leading up to this week. And did the pizza bagel fun on National Pizza Day.

My self-contained ASD students were not very engaged.

This tool has been WONDERFUL for connecting life skills, functional reading skills, and high engagement remote learning!

Highly engaging and useful in many different ways. Plus, who doesn't like pizza? We have been busy making pizza and practicing our knife skills and hygiene habits. Its so great to be able to link hands on activities with more class based learning.

This is one of my favorite books and I am so thankful for this resource. My students were really engaged during the read aloud because of the visuals.

During our beginning of the year CC unit there are books about pizza. We usually extend this portion and have dramatic play and additional pizza stories for children. I was able to have parents participate at home and assist students with making pizza and using the visual recipe and resources. Some of the activities are too advanced for my students but I appreciate having the range of information and resources.

This resource is SO thorough. I am so excited to add cooking back in to our schedule despite being virtual and these connected cooking resources provide the option for just that. I am pre-recording the cooking activity and then playing the video for my students to answer questions as we go and also sending home the recipe for them to try at home. There are SO many ways to use this resource.

I am so excited to use this resource once we are back in school! My students participate in cooking once every 6 days. I always felt that the cooking experience was missing something and this resource fills in all the gaps! I am so excited to add a literacy piece to my lessons!
