I will definitely be using this unit every summer from now on. My MSD self contained grades 1-5 students loved making Lemonade and learning about the process.
My speech therapy students were very engaged with this activity.
Such a great set! I love that you used books that are already popular in my class. The adapted pieces for the books helps us work on comprehension. I love the recipe and the vocab focus. And plenty of printables makes it easy to find ones that work for particular students.
This was a great first life skills activity to tie together reading and a cooking activity that wasn't too in depth for an introduction.

Students loved our unit on lemonade and we were able to add more activities based on this resource! Students loved making lemonade and selling lemonade at our own stand. It helped us learn about money and selling products for a profit.
This was a fun themed activity with great visuals and step by step directions.
I have truly enjoyed having the opportunity to use cooking within the classroom. This is a great resource to implement cooking with my students.

I love the concept of an interactive read aloud paired with a cooking lesson. I teach a kindergarten class with a variety of learning needs. This is a fantastic hands-on activity with visual supports that benefited all of my students. Thank you for such a fun end of the year activity!
Great curriculum resource
I love this resource! It's engaging and full of comprehension activities to delve deep into understanding the story. I like how it comes with read aloud prompts and questions, it's all done for you!! The cooking lesson is also a fun activity to go along with the book :)

I used this with my life skills students during distance learning. Such a fun read aloud and full of activities to get their family involved with them. Can not wait to utilize more of these Connected Cooking resources for distance learning and when we get back to the class!
