Calendar time is an essential part of the day in an elementary classroom. For our students with special needs, it is important to provide continual supports no matter what we are teaching. This file folder game is perfect for your student to use during calendar time!

Practice making the date, spelling the month, the days of the week (yesterday was, today is, tomorrow will be), and the weather (the weather today is).

This download is for the pages to make your own file folder game as shown in the preview file. You will not receive the actual folder itself; you will need to make it.

Items NOT provided that you STILL NEED:
• manila folder
• Velcro strips
• a printer, scissors, a laminator, and glue.

The preview file is considered the "How To" file and is included in the download.

I used these with a low incidence class so each student had their own calendar to work with. With older kids, I sort of forgot about them. This past year, we had a pre-k student who needed some extra support during calendar time, this was perfect for him! I put it together and the teacher had it the next day!

I have used this with students who can't manage using a binder calendar book. If they are able, I have them circle answers with a dry eraser or just point to things if my para is helping them. It helps everyone feel included.
