I love this! It was a lot of money but worth every penny! I love how it breaks down the IEP components. I use this with a student who has a hearing impairment and his mom wanted him to work on his rights. I suggested starting with the IEP, as he is a little young for all the laws and such. This is a fantastic resource! Very user friendly.

Students are often surprised that hey have to attend yet another IEP meeting while they are in transition. I've used this resource to help students understand their IEP and why their input is important. I also love the activities included in this resource! Students can apply them to their own IEPs and have a better understanding of the IEP process. Best purchase ever!

I love the concept of this bundle - I am definitely a huge advocate for students learning how to self-advocate and be an active part of the IEP process. However, I do find that not every family wants their child to learn about this in elementary school, and not every school has students join IEP meetings, which can make some of these topics a little obscure. Definitely a great bundle for older students, prior to a transition meeting, or in schools where students are included in meetings.

I use this as a key resource for teaching my students about their IEP's and what that means for them. It can be a difficult concept to grasp or talk about, so having this bundle has been super helpful in navigating those sometimes tricky moments.

This is an amazing resource that both my students and their parents/guardians love. It makes it super easy to discuss their specific needs and help them understand why they are being pulled to small groups in the special education setting. I am able to use this with a wide range of learners with varying instructional levels.

Great for students heading off to high school.
Only issue is that Canadian/Ontario system differs so not all parts are relevant.

As a future teacher, my goal is to make sure my students are involved in their IEP processes, but I wasn't sure where to begin. When I found this resource, I was so excited! I love that each book is adapted at different levels to accommodate all learners. I also can't wait to use the supplemental activities and resources provided! I would absolutely recommend this for any age group!
