These worked very well for my preschool SPED students.
I first used these with my own children to help identify colors. I now use them in my classroom. I laminated and added velcro dots to all the pieces.
This resource is standout in gaining meaningful participation for self contained students!
Used with one of my younger and lower level kinder students . He loved it and asked to do it over and over again.
Perfect to help with the kids that need the extra help with colors!

This is a bright and engaging way to help young learners practice color recognition and sorting skills. With 11 different mats focused on primary colors, it's perfect for centers, task boxes, or small group work. A simple, effective tool for early childhood and special education settings!
These are perfect for independent work or morning work bins!
I love these sorting by color boards and the visuals they use to be sorted! Great activity!
I used this as a color recognition activity, but also as vocabulary. I would have the students grab a piece, label the item on the piece, and then tell me what color it was. It was great for some of those tricky colors students struggle with such as brown, black, gray, and white.
My students enjoy using this resource. It is adapted and great for low prep activity.
Great resource. Thanks for sharing.
This activity was an awesome tool to use for my kiddos on the spectrum! They remained engaged and were able to complete the activity independently.
It is cute, but the items aren't specific to the color so it was a bit tricky trying to explain to the kids that monsters or aliens or flowers etc. can be a lot of colors.
My students loved this and it was easy to differentiate according to student needs.
Awesome and easy to use laminated game set - can be left out all year for students to practice color identification and color matching!
The mats are very small and can really only be used for one person. If they were larger I could then choose how big to print them. The pictures are cute just too small for whole group or small group without printing multiple sets.
My students and staff love this! Connects to their IEP goals perfectly.
I use this with a student with autism and it was an engaging hands-on activity.
