The Morning Adapted Work Binder® is a great resource for establishing a structured and purposeful morning routine in a self-contained special education classroom. The adapted activities provide accessible opportunities for students to practice academic, functional, and independent work skills at the start of the school day. I especially like using the binder for independent work, 1:1 instruction, task completion practice, and morning work routines. The predictable format can help students transition into the school day while building independence and confidence. Activities can also be supported with visuals, prompting, modeling, and repetition to meet individual student needs. This is a practical resource for keeping students engaged while reinforcing important skills and encouraging greater classroom independence.

Perfect for morning work independently or as we are completing calendar together.

L

This does take a lot of prep work. HOWEVER, after it is completed, it is so so useful and easy to update or switch out pages based on student needs. My students who require this extra bit of morning work that is adapted for their needs loved it and found it easy to follow and complete. Highly recommend. Take the time to complete and students can use for years to come!
