I use this product in a Setting III EBD/SLD room for grades K-2. I would not recommend it for older kids unless they are severely DCD/ASD/SMI/Non-verbal.

There is a lot to love about this product - so despite what I'm about to say, I want you to know that I would recommend this product and if I could do it all over, I would still purchase it.

Things You Should Know:
- LOTS of prep work for this - printing in color, laminating, cutting, organizing...
- Due to the lots of prep work, if you want to get your money's worth out of it, you really need to be two months ahead of the game. In other words, prep it in the spring or summer months to use in September when you're practicing fire drills and fire safety.
- Do NOT print everything. Look through the product and be critical about what you pick. There are a lot of differentiated options, so depending on your situation, some may not be applicable to the group you teach.

Very repetitive and does not utilize multiple skill sets. I used these activities with my child, however, I was looking for a unit study based on fire prevention but also included activities that spanned multiple subjects such as math. If what you are looking for is a binder activity, then this is what you are purchasing. The description does note this, unfortunately, it is not what I was looking for.

this teach LOVES SPEECH

Amazing resource that we used non stop during our Fire Safety week at school. Love that skills can be linked to standards that we are already working on in the classroom. We paired it with your adapted stories for Fire Safety to bring it all together. Love this resource!
