These 9 different game boards can be used together to help students recognize the letters of the alphabet by letter, letter sound, or by clip art alphabet images.
You could also put these in a file folder to make a file folder game.
How do I use these?
Print the pages you wish to use. I print the dark font pages in lower and UPPER, gluing and laminating each piece on cardstock. On the back of each game board, I tape a clear baggie and put the alphabet pieces in there. For the alphabet pieces, I print the outlined font alphabets, one in lower and one in UPPER.
For some of my students, I have them match UPPER to UPPER and lower to lower. Other students match UPPER to lower. It all depends on the needs of my students.
Have students match based on letter identification, UPPER to lower alphabet letter matching, letter sound, or even to the pictures. There are many ways to use these alphabet boards to monitor and teach your students.
